i missed you all!.

i only have a few minutes to post tonight but have been studying cults, secret societies, occultic beliefs etc blah de blah.. i was rather shocked in my multiple readings these last couple of weeks to discover that 'secret societies', 'apocalyptic cults', esoteric belief groups etc share a common belief with the wtbts and i wonder if any others of you realised this.

What if God IS a farce?

that would really rock my world as i know it.

after i initially left the jws' i did question the whole "is there a god"" especially when you look around and see all the atrocities - the sick sick things happening in your own back yard.then i put it out of my mind and carried on believing in a god.. right now i choose to believe in a god, whether that god be jesus, jehovah, buddha, allah, shiva, it doesn't matter - i'm happy with the idea that there is a spiritual & powerful someone running things.however lately i've been questioning again - so many posters on here that are atheists really make good arguments & i can't reason my way out of it.. why does god keep so quiet?

why not just let us know - tadaaaa i'm here.

proving that people of note existed in biblical times, while not easy, is possible. BUT, proving all the supernatural goings-on in the bible to have actually happened is a pretty tough row to hoe. i think there was a Jesus, but i dont think he ascended to heaven when he died or glowed with spirit or healed sickies.

the witnesses love to point out archaeological evidence supporting the existence of biblical events and people and then using that to assume the truth of everything else in it.

i tell this type of story to my regular church going friends and they cant believe the sheer craziness of these guys. i just dont know how i would react personally. i dont think my language would have stayed clean, thereby providing them justification for their actions.

i wish i could relate the stories and experiences ive had over the years with these psychos, but the circumstances are so unique my identity would be given away.
